Mont Blanc tramway

Mont Blanc tramway

Leaving from Le Fayet or Saint-Gervais, France’s highest cog railway transports pedestrians and skiers, offering Alpine scenery and views of Mont Blanc.

In winter, it climbs to the Plateau de Bellevue (1800 m) and the Les Houches ski area, offering panoramic views over the valley.

In summer, it provides access to the Nid d’Aigle, but due to construction work during the summer of 2024, it will be limited to Mont Lachat. This cogwheel train is a great way to discover the mountains and access the summits.
