The Parc de Merlet, located in Les Houches in the Chamonix valley, is much more than just an animal park. Perched at an altitude of 950 metres, it covers 21 hectares and offers total immersion in the wilderness of the Alps. Parc de Merlet is open from May to September, with opening times varying according to the season. It is easily accessible by car from Chamonix, with parking reserved for visitors.
