General conditions of sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to all purchases of hotel room reservation services and related services offered by Hôtel La Fontaine to consumers and customers on the Hotel’s website.

Referral to the Consumer Mediator

In the event of an unresolved dispute with Hotel La Fontaine, in accordance with Articles L. 616-1 and R. 616-1 of the French Consumer Code, the customer is entitled to refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman, in order to try, with his or her help, to find an amicable resolution to the dispute.

Changes – Cancellation of reservation

Pursuant toArticle 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the customer may not take advantage of the 14-day cooling-off period. Reservations made on the Hôtel La Fontaine website cannot be modified during your stay.

Pre-contractual information – Customer acceptance

Understandable, these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and all the information listed inArticle L. 221-5 of the French Consumer Code, and in particular the following information :

the essential characteristics of the Services, taking into account the communication medium used and the Service concerned ;
the price of the Services and related costs;
in the absence of immediate performance of the contract, the date or deadline by which the Service Provider undertakes to provide the reserved Services;
information relating to the identity of the Service Provider, its postal, telephone and electronic contact details, and its activities, if this is not apparent from the context,
information relating to legal and contractual guarantees and how they are implemented;
the functionalities of the digital content and, where applicable, its interoperability;
the possibility of recourse to conventional mediation in the event of a dispute;
information on important contractual terms and conditions.

The fact that a natural person (or legal entity) makes a reservation on the Hotel’s Internet site implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and an obligation to pay for the Services ordered, which is expressly recognised by the Customer, who waives, in particular, the right to rely on any contradictory document that would be unenforceable against the Service Provider.

Consumer information

Hôtel La Fontaine is bound by the guarantee of conformity of the services, under the conditions set forth in Articles L. 111-2. of the French Consumer Code, without prejudice to any additional contractual guarantee that may be specifically agreed between the parties, outside of these general terms and conditions, pursuant to a written contract duly signed by the parties.

The services marketed by the Hôtel La Fontaine consist, within the framework of a contract with the establishment, in the provision of rooms, the essential characteristics of which are presented on the fontaine-chamonix.com website, with or without breakfast services and other additional services related to temporary accommodation.
