Winter: new direct Skibus services to the ski lifts from 21 December 2024:
New Proxibus routes to serve the various hamlets in the valley. A bus service that starts earlier in the morning and finishes later at night.
From Chamonix, the SNCF line serves all the villages:
– On the French side to St Gervais les Bains – le Fayet via Les Bossons, Les Houches and Servoz.
– On the Swiss side to Martigny via Les Praz, Argentière and Vallorcine.
The SNCF line from Servoz to Martigny is free for holders of the Host card, given to you on arrival at the hotel.
Electric shuttles, hybrid buses and soon natural gas buses, major renovation of the railway line to improve frequency, pedestrian and cycle routes: the Chamonix valley is developing and structuring its eco-mobility.
